On the 19th and 20th of November 2019 ARTIFACTORY has participated the International Conference of the INTERREG Greece-Italy Project POLYSEMI “Park of Literary Travels in Greece and Magna Graecia’ hosted by the Greek Ministry of Culture at the Ionian Academy in Corfu, Greece. The Conference was organized by the Greek Ministry of Culture and moderated by Mrs Monika Tsiliberdi, Head of the Directorate for the Development of Contemporary Creation. The Conference was attended by the President of GNTO, Mrs Angela Gerekou, Mr. Nicholas Yatromanolakis, General Secretary of Contemporary Culture, Mrs Rodi Kratsa, Regional Governor of the Ionian Islands and other distinguished guests. The Key Note Speakers Eladio Fernandez-Galiano (COUNCIL OF EUROPE) and Aldo di Russo (ARTIFACTORY) have discussed the topics of the cultural itineraries in the framework of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Dr. Dorothea Papathanasiou-Zuhrt (ARTIFACTORY) has participated the Open Forum on New Technologies for Cultural Storytelling sharing successful experiences from EU funded projects in the current Programming Period. The Forum was moderated by Prof. N. Karahalios, University of Thessaly.

A very interesting Workshop was delivered for stakeholders by Prof. George Karydakis, University of the Aegean, Greece on the use of the Histrorypin app, aiming to instruct trainees how to develop digital cultural itineraries. The Workshop has concluded with an informal agreement among stakeholders, to further pursuit the results and expand the network of cultural experiences in the Unesco enlisted historic City of Corfu.
