Funded by the Project A.02.052/HERODOT “Tourism Uses of The Historic Environment. Know-How Transfer and Quality Management Practices at Regional and Local Level, a heritage network has been established in Greece and Italy. Following the Father of History, Herodotus, in his world travels, a Travelbox has been designed to pack exceptional heritage experiences. 

The Travelbox includes 10 brochures: 9 heritage trails corresponding to respective pilot projects and a brochure with Travel tips.A cigarette box has been taken as a prototype, exactly because everybody knows what a cigarette box looks like. The Traveltip Brochure, introduces visitors tothe philosophy Herodotus by interviewing the Father of History. It includes a short biographical note, aiming to inform reader with no prior knowledge about the person interviewed. It does not reflect the opinion of the “journalist’; it rather strives to in-form readers with facts, so as for them to enter the evaluation process.
