Elpida Margariti

Elpida Margariti is an economic historian and the owner of a small bookstore café named *Simoun* in the city of Preveza. She graduated from the Department of Economics at the University of Crete and holds an MPhil in Philosophy of Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research interests focus on modern Greek history, specifically the interwar and post-war periods. 

For the past two years, she has been exclusively dedicated to managing the bookstore café. Through numerous events organized in the space, she aims to create opportunities for discussions on literature, history, and political science, with the goal of highlighting topics in these fields that are often overlooked in a small provincial town like Preveza.
