ART OF INCLUSION - ART FOR INCLUSION
The project aims to impact partner countries' societies and enhance the EU's understanding and responsiveness to diversity concerning refugees and migrants. By utilizing arts as a tool, it will create environments that foster equity and equality. This initiative addresses the need for migrants and refugees to become active members of society, facilitating their social inclusion.
Youth organizations play a crucial role in promoting an inclusive society by empowering disadvantaged young people to become active citizens and develop soft skills. This project unites four organizations that believe in the power of arts and creativity to:
- Promote intercultural dialogue: By preserving cultural heritage and promoting cultural diversity, the project connects people from different backgrounds, interests, and perspectives.
- Increase migrant participation: encouraging involvement in cultural and societal life through artistic and cultural expressions helps facilitate communication and understanding of similarities and differences among people.
Through these efforts, the project aims to enhance the understanding of human rights and democracy while increasing the capacity of participating youth organizations.
The project will produce two main outcomes:
Result 1 (R1): A comprehensive website that will serve as both the project's hub and a learning platform. This website will host:
Result 2 (R2): An innovative training guide. This guide will be developed using a combination of non-formal methodologies and artistic tools, including digital media, storytelling, drama, and creative thinking. It will cater to various learning contexts, both formal and non-formal. Additionally, the platform will feature videos from project mobilities, as well as products created by young participants, such as videos, newsletters, and photo albums.
