Sophia Georgara

Sofia Georgara has graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature and is currently an MSc student in Rural Tourism and Local Development. Passionate about travelling, languages and mountains, she has worked in the sustainable and rural tourism sector as well as in the education field, teaching English and Greek to adults and refugee children. She has a broad experience with Erasmus+ projects and is a youth group member, project writer and coordinator. Sofia has been volunteering for different cultural events and festivals in Thessaloniki (International Film & Documentary Festival, PicNic Festival etc.) She has recently moved to a rural area so as to develop a rural tourism project.
